A special is a trailer that is custom-built for the customer. A special can be that a standard trailer is slightly modified. But a special can also mean that a completely new trailer is developed.
For many customers we build a complete trailer, whether or not a flatbed or a closed trailer, but the trailer is complete when the customer picks it up.
There are also situations in which we build a special and then it only concerns a chassis. The customer can then build the things that he/she needs on the chassis.
You can think of the chassis on which a customer builds a machine, but also a chassis on which a customer makes a closed body.
We always build a chassis to measure and in consultation with the customer we discuss how the body will be mounted. Customers sometimes choose a chassis because they want to be close by with the body, for example, to take a look regularly, but it can also be a choice based on expertise or budget.
In all cases when we talk about special and chassis it is about customization for the customer and sometimes about the entire trailer and sometimes just the chassis.
However, all trailers get an RDW inspection and a NL license plate before the customer picks them up.
